Product Details

Deflection rollers play a significant role by producing cigarettes in the tobacco industry. The rollers does not only carry the material for the cigarette directly, but can also be used in the packaging process. Temco combines the know-how from packaging, hygiene and the food industry to fulfill all the needs for the tobacco industry.

Features

All bearing arrangements are sealed on both sides and are maintenance-free due to lifetime lubrication. In order to reduce the mass moment of inertia, very lightweight Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) roller shells are available in addition to aluminum roller shells and can be combined with specific surfaces (e.g. non-stick coating). High speeds are good for the packaging process using foils, but for the fragile cigarette itself a more gentle and therefore slower roller needs to be used. Some Temco deflection rollers ULR and ULW meet the regulations of the American Food and Drug Agency (FDA).

Advantages

  • Optimal speed for optimal production process
  • Smooth running and low friction
  • Low mass moment of inertia
  • High raceway quality for special quality requirements
  • Highest precision
  • Low noise emission
  • Various coatings for individual applications
  • FDA conformity

Area of application

Deflection rollers ULR and ULW are used for the packaging material of cigarettes, mostly foils, in the tobacco industry.
