What a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) does

  • Manufacture precision components: They manufacture precision components using processes such as turning, drilling, milling or grinding. They usually use CNC machine tools, i.e. computer-controlled machines. This means that even complex parts can be manufactured very precisely and automatically.
  • Calculate: As a cutting machine operator, you need a good knowledge of math and geometry. You need to be able to calculate lengths, areas and volumes.
  • Assembling: Individual components are assembled into complete assemblies by cutting machine operators (m/f/d).
    Checking quality: Machining mechanics (m/f/d) have to carry out regular quality checks and monitor the production process.
