What you should bring with you
- At least intermediate school leaving certificate
- Good grades in German, math and English
- Interest in economic contexts and commercial processes, e.g. purchasing, sales or accounting
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to learn
What a cutting machine operator (m/f/d) does
- Manufacture precision components: They manufacture precision components using processes such as turning, drilling, milling or grinding. They usually use CNC machine tools, i.e. computer-controlled machines. This means that even complex parts can be manufactured very precisely and automatically.
- Calculate: As a cutting machine operator, you need a good knowledge of math and geometry. You need to be able to calculate lengths, areas and volumes.
- Assembling: Individual components are assembled into complete assemblies by cutting machine operators (m/f/d).
Checking quality: Machining mechanics (m/f/d) have to carry out regular quality checks and monitor the production process.
